James M. anderson, jr., esq

• Born and raised in Statesville, North Carolina
  
• Graduate of Statesville Senior High
  
• Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a double major of Accounting and Finance
  
• Earned his Juris Doctorate from University of South Carolina
  
• Interned with the Forsyth County Public Defender’s office during the summer while attending law school
  

Upon graduating law school, Mr. Anderson returned to Statesville to start a family with his wife and newborn child.  He was hired by the District Attorney’s Office where he learned the art of the courtroom.  During his time with the District Attorney’s Office, Mr. Anderson prosecuted cases ranging from simple seat belt tickets all the way to major felonies.  When Mr. Anderson decided to leave the District Attorney’s Office, he was solely responsible for all of the juvenile delinquency cases in Iredell County. Mr. Anderson is now using everything he learned in the District Attorney’s Office to zealously defend those charged in Iredell and the surrounding counties.
